What’s been happening:

I retired from the federal government, and have visions of implementing a systematic way of reducing interpersonal violence that builds on my experience in creating and delivering employee assistance and other behavioral health related services for about 4 million covered lives. The most significant remaining obstacle is financing, which I think can be overcome by offering hosted virtual desktop services that typically improve the performance and security of organizations' information technology systems while saving them much more than the cost of violence reduction services. Hosted virtual desktop solutions are a reality. It remains to be seen if violence reduction becomes a reality. I have been fortunate to be married to my lovely wife Janice for 46 years. We live in the Chicago area and have four children. Mark and Paul live in Illinois, Don in North Carolina, and Kathleen in Hawaii with our only grandchildren, Brittany and Thomas.
